Venture Intelligence and Pulse release

    Nightly Pulse scoring now runs for every organization on a Business or Enterprise plan. Organizations that upgrade are included automatically from the next night; each organization's scores, insights, digests and settings are kept separate.

Switch organizations without signing out

  • New

Cleaner forms, smarter error handling

  • Fixed
    Editing a task now highlights the name and description fields with the same slim purple outline used everywhere else in the desktop app. The thick, offset ring that was cut off at the left and right edges is gone.

    All multi-line text fields in the desktop app now focus the same way as single-line inputs, so forms look consistent across dialogs.

    When the server says you don't have permission for an action, the desktop app now accepts that answer instead of refreshing your sign-in and retrying a request that cannot succeed. Fewer stalls, and clearer messages when something is off-limits.

Dark mode

    Dark theme across the whole desktop app: every screen, dialog, table, banner and toast, built on the same purple brand with surfaces and status colours tuned for readability.

Task checklists in the desktop app

  • New
    Your task's checklist now lives in the desktop app, and it's fully interactive: tick items off as you work, add new ones, rename or delete them — all without leaving the timer window. The header tracks how far along you are, so 7 of 10 items reads as "7/10 done · 70% completed", with a progress bar to match.

    Every task row shows a checklist pill, so you can see what's still outstanding before opening anything.

See what your whole team is working on

    A new Team tab on the Tasks page groups every task by the person it's assigned to, so you can see who's handling what without asking. Each teammate shows their in-progress, pending and completed counts, with active and high-priority work sorted to the top. You'll see everyone in the projects you're part of; managers see the whole organization.

    Availability at a glance. Teammates with a running desktop timer show as "Working now" alongside the task they're on, anyone with active work shows as "In progress", and everyone else shows as "Available" — so it's obvious who can pick up something urgent.

    Task checklists now show a progress bar and completion percentage wherever they appear — on board cards, in the task list, and in the task editor.

Daily updates from the desktop app

  • New
    Submit your daily update straight from the Colabio desktop app. A "Daily update" row now appears in your workspace — hit Submit, fill in the short form (priority, what you shipped, blockers, mood, clarity), and you're done. The row shows a green check once you've submitted for the day.

    Organization managers control this per organization: turn on "Desktop app" from the dashboard's Daily Update page to enable it for your members. Desktop submissions count toward streaks and show up on the dashboard and team feed exactly like regular ones.
